If you're a new U of A international student, don't forget to visit the International Student Check-In (Aug. 10 - Sept. 11, 2015). Located at the International Centre (172 HUB), the Campus Check-in will help connect you to the essential information that you'll need to get settled. Topics that you'll learn about will include banking in Canada, Alberta Health Insurance, finding a place to live, finding furniture, buying groceries, and more.
Trust me, the winter tips will be a serious life saver.
